Some call me :Superman:
though the down home truth is
I am a humble driver
who brings supplies out to farmers.

Most Will Classify With
-he is a great guy-
-trustworthy from the start-
When Describing ME

~Justin's Persona~
I need to be as I am described,
a great trustworthy guy

My Possition Forces Me To Be The Unofficial Poster Boy Of The Company
I am the only human connection most of our customers receive when dealing with our company, that first impression is a one shot deal.

Looks
vs
First Impressions

Who Could You
Instantly Trust?

Each person is limited with their physical appearance, but your personal grooming
can be what people first judge you on... do your best,
Make It Count

My personal look comes from people's reaction to me.
Over the years people suggest for me to
try style X,Y,Z,,,
But for now
My look as it is, brings
out the Me
it lets my light shine through
my confidence
~who I am can be made at 1st impression~

I feel Gillette has always done what I needed done,,,

While my introduction to the
UNBREAKABLE
Remington trimmer was
a great find as I've recently broke
my 3rd pair of trimmers.
The unbreakable part caught my eye because
who buys trimmers?
those who need their first pair
and those who broke a recent set
This brand helps me because I can't go shopping
for trimmers when a set breaks 1/2 way
through grooming.

This cute idea is not
a company who
knows their customers.
The product may work eventually
but
who has the time?

To talk my appearance's motivation.
My family is step one to impress and gain their respect.
As my constant upkeep of my appearance.
Yes I want my families respect and
with my line of work,
allot of customers are our neighbors from nearby
 towns and counties.

Despite never meeting them before, their
is always a great chance
to run across a customer in a public
place while out with
my family.

First impressions are always a great thing to practice
and I hope I can do it well  because I never
intend to see a customer after our
initial encounter, but
its better to have left a good impression
rather than a sour one.

Question 1 - Can you tell me about you - what are your interests, your family (if applicable). What makes you unique?

I am 30yo,with interests that align around my
60-126 hour weeks.
So outside of work, work, work, work,,,,,
I try to make time to help my family members
while making time for my son wife and newborn.
Last event that I was able to attend with my family was a night at the drive in theatre.

I would off the top say my work schedule is a unique factor in my life as it is farmer based and I need to be available when the customer is ready, despite the fact that one farmer gets up before the chickens, and scheduling that with the farmers who go til their eyes can't stay open any longer. a 20 hour day is not unusual during the harvest and spring plantings,
As every man know, all work and no play is very boring,,,,
but its a necessity when there is little to no work over the winter after fall harvest has completed.

Question 2 - What specifically do you do to project this trustworthy persona on an average day?

My appearance, the first thing in a first impression is,,someone Sees you, so if you are not what they like to see, then they already are suspicious of you.  In southern illinois, It is a common tradition for men to be clean shaven and dressed to impress.

SO maintainingclean appearance between clothing and a professional looking face is how I project something that the customers can instantly trust.

Other than appearance, I don't do anything unusual that would stand out as adding to my persona,

- Question 3 - How would you describe the specific look you're going for? Can you tell me why you chose each of those images - why did you choose each one? Maybe it's what makes them look trustworthy to you. Then tell me why you chose the 3 that don't and why.

I am going for a clean professional appearance that is not clean shaven but is not unpleasant to look at.
As for the images I was asked to upload, the 3 on the left represent individuals who took pride in their appearance and groomed themselves in a respectful manor

As for the remaining 3 on the right, they are not representing my look as they are un-groomed or as the middle picture is showing, someone who was groomed but it fails to represent a professional look, (why) just because the appearance is odd

- Question 4 - Can you tell me where you get your inspiration for your look? You mention it's people's reaction, but what do they say? Do they suggest you look like a certain person, certain way, etc? Is it looking like a certain person? Why do these things inspire your look?

The culture in this area of the state is expecting a respectful man to be clean shaven, and my self esteem and physical appearance don't meet when I have a naked face, but limiting my facial hair to a trimmed goatee has proven with clients as a successful look,  There is not a movie star that people tell me I should model my appearance after,, that is not REAL LIFE
My inspiration comes as my customers are out forth and bold and will  correct you when something about your appearance makes you look like a jack ass,
If I wear my beard, customers have reported " {have him clean that shit off his face }"

its not socially acceptable by the majority of farmers here to have facial hair

- Please name 2-3 brands that get your look and you'll you to achieve it (in any category - grooming, clothes, etc). What makes you return to this brand again and again. What's an example of a brand that DOESN'T get your persona/look and why?

 *Note* images are posted above

Gillette and remington are brands that I have grown to trust.
Gillette is a Normal brand that is easy to find and their products work, no fussing and complaining or trying to read instruction,,,   It is a valued tool in my appearance and I am proud that I can have a tool that is simple in practice and works every-time.

As for Remington-brand trimmers.
I a new to this brand as my trusted wahl's broke, again,
I noticed the labeling on the Remington trimmers as unbreakable,,, which for obvious reasons caught my attention.  And this far in my use of them, I have loved the product, the size is oddly small but it has a good fit in my hands, as for function, it works, plain and simple, i can't express enough how great it is to expect a product to break in this through a way nation, but this product works and work and keeps working so far. I'm really happy about its function and feel in my hand.

As for a brand that does not understand me,,,, Kikar,, I received one  of their pencil trimmers and it looked like a cool idea, as it is shown in the picture above,,, its multi functional as a standard trimmer just in a convenient size,

and to quote myself,,,, who has the time??
This product works, but as intended???
I would vote NO, it is not practical as shown in the image above, it is a joke when it comes to needing a tool for an every day routine.

- How does it make you feel when someone notices your appearance?

It would embarrass me as a daily goal in my field of work is to blend in , so if my appearance makes me stand out, I have failed to do something properly.
